Results Day

I am typing this now, at 9:39pm, still in shock about today's events. It still feels so unreal! Today started with the usual 6am wake up and rush session. Chapel at 7:30am, class at 8am. The usual, nothing exciting. My lunch period started from 1pm, which was when I started feeling nervous. One hour left until the news. One hour left until my results are posted. I had lunch alone in Cafeteria B, and the packed lunch was comforting. I packed Chopped Eggs and Mushroom filling with bread, which wasn't as yummy as the Egg and Tuna filling. Even though Cafeteria B is less crowded than Cafeteria A, I still felt like the cafeteria was too crowded. The number of people there was giving me a headache. That's why I went to the library, thinking that I would have some peace. I thought that I could quietly do some work to pass the time quicker. I thought wrong. I was soon joined by a classmate, who sat at my table, and read her own books. Even though she wasn't talking ...

Bony Fish and Homework

Another day with more work. Today started early, at 6am. I jumped up, and quickly got ready for college. Mummy and I were looking forward to a piping hot bowl of IndoMee, but Daddy ruined our plans. He was already making the Baked Egg Cup, which is normally tasty, but didn't taste as good today. I had to quickly shove it in my mouth before leaving home. I was dropped off at 7:20am, leaving me 10 minutes to walk to chapel. Even though I was reluctant to attend chapel at first, I have to agree it's good for me. It's a good way to start the day. Judges 5, the bible passage we read through today was all about how God helps us through trials in life. I left chapel early, as I had classes at 8am. After 4 hours of class, it was finally time for lunch. I was starving by then! I'm pretty sure I would have felt light-headed if I didn't eat some biscuits earlier. My lunch was packed from home: bread, sliced cheese, sliced bananas and egg filling. I also had a pack of b...

Another Week

Image
Today was the start of my second week at college. I was glad that I only had to be at college at 10:30am. My classes started at 12, but due to a group project meeting, I had to be there earlier. That's why I only woke up at 6:30, and got out of bed at 7:30. I had IndoMee for breakfast, which I ate while packing my lunch. Lunch was a homemade sandwich, made out of Daddy's bread and Erica's Mashed Egg and Tuna Filling. Here's a picture. It was yummy! At 10:30am, I reached college, thanks to Daddy. Mummy can't send or pick me up from college anymore, since she just started a new job. As I was early, I read an article on my phone while waiting for my group members. The meeting started at 11am, and only lasted for 20 minutes, since there wasn't much to talk about. I spent the last 40 minutes of my free time going for All Club's Day. It is a day where all of the active clubs at college set up a booth and try to recruit new members. There is a wide va...

Benny

Image
Today, I'm going to blog about Benny, my dog. Here'a a picture! I'm not exactly sure how old he is, but I think he is roughly 4 years old. We brought him back home with us from Ipoh, during one of our road trips. He was so cute as a puppy! He was furry and small. The first few days were exciting for us. There were things that we had to do to help him get used to a new environment. We would walk him around our home, and play with him. Those were the fun parts. The not so fun part? We had to potty train him. This meant there were hourly visits to his "toilet" (a tray in the toilet), where we had to try our best to get him to pee. It was not fun. We could spend ten minutes saying the same thing over and over again: Benny pee! It was frustrating, as we couldn't seem to potty train him. This made it even more frustrating when we had to clean up his "accidents" around the house. Benny had to sleep in a cage, as he was still too young to sleep w...

The Sweet Saturday

Image
At last, the week is over. I am so glad that it was finally the weekend. I stayed up late last night, but managed to wake up at 8am. I was highly motivated by the fact that it was my turn to vacuum the floor, and my parents weren't home. This means it was the perfect time for me to vacuum the floor. One hour later, I was having coffee and biscuits for breakfast. My sister and I also discussed some bible verses. Once that was done, I started my research for my Malaysian Studies project. For the assignment, my group of four have to write an essay about the formation of the local government in Malaysia. We have to write about its history, the types of local governments and the duties of the local governments. As I am the leader on this project, it is a new experience for me. That's why I have to start researching. It would be embarrassing if I didn't get any research done, while my teammates did their research. However, I haven't done a lot of research, I'm too...

Christian Fellowship

Image
Today is Friday. I had no classes today, but I still went to college anyway. Mummy wanted me to attend my college's Christian Fellowship (CF), as it will help me to stay connected to God. I arrived at college at 10:30am, as I wanted to go to the library. I needed to use several books at the library, as they contained practice questions. I didn't do many questions, I was too busy looking through the available textbooks at the library. An outside view of the library. At 12pm, I went to the auditorium for Christian Fellowship. As Christian Fellowship is considered an extra-curricular activity, we have to fill out an attendance form online. That way, at the end of the semester, our attendance will be noted on our extra-curricular cards. At 12:10pm, CF started. It started with a worship session, which was nice. Then, an offering bag was passed around. Once that was done, we played a game. The game was to help everyone warm up to one another, as there were new students...

CAT Party

Image
Today was another day of college. I had classes in the morning from 8am till 12 pm, which was something new for me. I'm used to studying at my own pace, and I like to take breaks every hour. I'm also not used to studying so much content in a day. We finished one whole chapter in 2 hours today. It's a good thing that we were learning Chapter 1, so it's not too difficult yet. I'm also glad that daddy can still help me. Since he's an ACCA holder, he is more than qualified to help me with my CAT subjects. After class, I had a bun before going to the library to copy some notes. Once again, several of my classmates left campus for lunch, and I'm glad that they didn't invite me. I enjoyed an hour and a half of peace, before one of my classmates joined me. At 2pm, I went to one of the classrooms, which was filled with people. The CAT seniors were throwing my class a welcoming party. It was interesting, getting to know the 29 seniors. Most of my classm...
